Qualification: Successful completion of an AQF Qualification, either a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent formal training.
Industry Standards: Possession of skills that meet current Australian industry standards, demonstrated by a minimum of 12 months of full-time employment (or equivalent part-time) within the occupation over the previous three years. International Qualifications: For those with international qualifications or Australian qualifications not acquired through the Recognition of Learning process, a demonstration of 3 years of full-time or equivalent post-qualification experience is required.
Recognition of Learning: If an Australian qualification is issued through the Australian Recognition of Learning process, a demonstration of either 3 years of full-time (or equivalent) post-qualification experience or 6 years of full-time (or equivalent) experience (which can be either pre- or post-qualification) is mandatory.
